Poroject information Industry: Banking Location: hybrid model 2-3x/week (Gdańsk) Remuneration: up to 165 zl/h net+vat Type of contract: B2B Duration: Long-term SummaryThe Senior IT Test Manager is responsible for overseeing the testing processes in a project environment, ensuring the implementation of comprehensive test strategies that assure product quality across various dimensions of the development lifecycle.Main Responsibilities Analyze requirements, design comprehensive test plans and cases, identify potential test scenarios. Own and manage the end-to-end test strategy including risk-based testing and quality KPIs. Conduct requirements quality and testability reviews of user stories and acceptance criteria. Utilize advanced test design techniques and build test plans for each release with defined criteria. Orchestrate system integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing processes. Maintain traceability from requirements through to defects and evidence. Select appropriate test types based on identified risks within the system. Prepare and manage test data effectively for diverse testing scenarios. Drive collaboration within Agile/Scrum environments and support release planning processes. Test APIs and understand REST principles, including managing service dependencies. Key Requirements Proven experience with test automation and maintenance. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with microservices architecture principles. Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and headers. Nice to Have Experience with contract testing and schema validation. Familiarity with performance testing tools and strategies. Additional certifications in testing methodologies.
