We are looking for Senior Test Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies that support pilots, crew, and airline in planning flights or various airport operations. Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.Responsibilities: Planning, creating, and executing test scenarios Analyzing product requirements and identifying potential defects and risks early Testing new functionalities and performing regression testing of existing modules Preparing and maintaining test documentation (test cases, reports, checklists) Collaborating with developers and product owners to clarify issues and refine requirements Reporting and tracking defects using dedicated tools (ZOHO) Verifying fixes and ensuring product quality before release Participating in quality improvement processes (e.g., code review for testability, defect analysis) Assessing test coverage and identifying areas requiring additional verification Working with certification processes in compliance with aviation standards  Tech Stack on the project: Testing tools: ZOHO, Excel Issue tracking: Excel Methodology: Agile/Scrum  Must have requirements: Experience in software testing (manual + automation) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in test environments Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum) Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) EU citizenship Higher education (technical background preferred) Nice to have requirements: Experience in aviation/transport or related projects Familiarity with additional testing tools beyond ZOHO/Excel Certifications (ISTQB or similar) Strong documentation and presentation skills Leadership or mentoring experience in QA teams The recruitment process in our company consist of two stages: a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max) one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions) What we offer: BENEFITS (UoP): Luxmed, Medicover Sport, Worksmile, educational platforms, language courses, referral bonus, copyrights, life insurance DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (UoP and B2B): certifications (paid by the company), conferences, Tech Lunches Regardless of the feedback we come back to our candidates.If you find this offer interesting and you would like to learn more about the project, send us your up-dated CV in English containing the clause:  'I agree to the processing by Sopra Steria Polska Sp. z o.o. and other entities within the Sopra Steria Group of my personal data contained in my CV for the purposes of the current recruitment process and future recruitment processes conducted by any entity within the Sopra Steria Group.'
