Group AI Management and Strategy (AIMS) team is responsible for developing and implementing Group-wide strategic programs across HSBC aimed at accelerating the commercialisation and delivery of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML). Key areas of focus include responsible development practices, common platforms and capabilities, AI technology enablement, governance, and the Group-wide AI Strategy.HSBC is enhancing the utilisation of Generative AI to boost colleagues' productivity and increase their effectiveness, ensuring a controlled and responsible approach. We are looking for an UI / UX Lead to play a crucial role in shaping the user experience strategy and implement the interface design of an LLM-based productivity tool. This role combines rapid prototyping, collaborating across teams, user feedback, and design excellence to develop the best-in-class colleague productivity app at the bank.Our requirements: Execute a user experience strategy that aligns with the goals of the LLM-based productivity tool, ensuring it meets the needs of colleagues and enhances productivity. Support the design standards by utilising CX best practices, libraries, and frameworks to build production code and deliver a best-in-class experience for end users. Ensure that the interface is not only functional but also visually appealing and intuitive to the users. Report on UX impact using qualitative and quantitative metrics & analyse user research data to inform design decisions and improve user experience. Collaborate with various teams, including product owners, developers, and users to integrate design solutions that support business objectives and user needs. Work in a structured manner to align with Technology and Product teams: JIRA, Kanban boards, and CICD pipeline (Azure Devops Pipeline) Collaborate with Engagement Lead and participate in user research and journey design where required to gain better insight into user requirements, trends and habits. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices to maintain the application as a best-in-class productivity tool. Optional: Experience in UI/UX design, specifically with web applications, design systems, and user research. Experience with user research methods to inform design decisions. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI/GAI). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to users and engage stakeholders. Strong ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic actions and design. Proactive attitude, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about staying up to date on the latest technology advancements and their benefits to financial services.
