We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our collaborative team.You’ll be working in an AI platform team within a global financial institution, supporting internal stakeholders. The team includes data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts who process large volumes of data for various use cases, utilizing both traditional machine learning models and modern generative AI. The group is rapidly expanding its capabilities in chatbots and intelligent agents, operating in a cloud-native and technology-driven environment.This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to work three days a week from our office in Kraków.Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions Utilize Azure services and technologies to build scalable and efficient applications Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and cloud computing Requirements Expertise in Java 18+ and Spring Boot, with over 3 years of experience in Java development Background in RESTful API development Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases and ORM tools Competency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD Knowledge of Azure cloud services Skills in testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, JBehave Familiarity with integration tools such as Kafka, REST protocols English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to have Understanding of security methodologies like OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security Showcase of monitoring and logging tools, e.g., Prometheus, Splunk We offer
