For our internation client we are looking for Senior Java/ Tech Lead based in Warsaw or Gdańsk or Gdynia.

What the role involves:

Serving as a Senior Java Engineer (specializing in Apache Kafka) 

Acting as the technical lead for a scrum team of developers and data engineers

Shaping solution architecture and ensuring strong application design and maintainability

Creating, implementing and optimizing near real-time data pipelines

Working closely with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and reporting expectations

Helping to modernize and migrate existing solutions to a contemporary technology stack

Collaborating with fellow engineers and maintaining clear, thorough documentation of designs and solutions

Your skills and experience:

Advanced expertise in Java (including Spring/ Spring Boot)

Strong experience building Kafka producers and consumers

Excellent SQL knowledge

Background in developing distributed, highly available, high-throughput systems

Practical experience with domain-driven design, event-sourcing, microservices and clean-code principles

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes

Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematical modelling or a related field

Solid understanding of master data management concepts and data modelling practices

It’s a plus if you also have:

Experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)

Knowledge of ETL/ data processing platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake

Experience with Apache Spark (batch and streaming)
