About the projectWe are searching for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our project team and support the development of a modern mobile application and a suite of backend services in the digital health space.You’ll be working on a high-impact product with broad reach, helping users make smarter choices about their wellbeing and daily habits. If you want to build solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives — this role is for you.Contract duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension and/or transfer to the client’s team.Remote work: (candidates based in Kraków are a plus, but this is not a requirement).Responsibilities Designing and developing scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript, NestJS). Building and maintaining REST API interfaces. Managing and extending relational database structures. Improving performance and stability of backend systems. Creating and maintaining automated tests. Working within a CI/CD environment using Docker and cloud-based tools.

Delivering new product features while supporting ongoing maintenance (approx. 70/30).

Must have At least 3 years of commercial experience as a Backend Developer. Strong proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and serverless workflows. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience designing REST APIs. Knowledge of Docker and basic CI/CD processes. Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code. Experience working with Git.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have Experience with React / TypeScript (frontend). Familiarity with non-relational databases such as Redis. Experience in AI-powered code completion and assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot and Tabnine. Proficiency in modern AI-enhanced IDEs, including JetBrains IDEs, Cursor and Trae. Familiarity with AI-assisted test generation and debugging tools, such as Qodo What do we offer?
