You will be a key member of the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing their core, large-scale systems built on Oracle technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend deep, hands-on PL/SQL development with high-level architectural design. You will focus on optimizing performance, engineering new database solutions, and ensuring the stability of mission-critical applications within the property insurance domain. Your expertise will directly shape complex systems that are fundamental to the client's business success and future growth.Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain critical systems using Oracle and PL/SQL technology Design and implement efficient, scalable database solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues in Oracle environments Collaborate effectively with team members within an agile SCRUM framework Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Implement and thoroughly test new features and system enhancements Optimize existing PL/SQL code for maximum performance Support the integration of PL/SQL applications with other enterprise systems Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes ​​​​You're ideal for this role if you have: At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining systems with Oracle technology Strong, demonstrable proficiency in PL/SQL development Proven experience working with Oracle Forms Good understanding of the Java programming language, particularly in the context of backend development and system integration The ability to work effectively in a team using an agile SCRUM methodology A capacity for analytical thinking and creating non-standard solutions Professional experience working within the property insurance domain Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration Experience with database or application migrations We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
