Join us as a Senior Java Developer and help develop lifecycle management services for a financial application supporting trading, operations and middle-office teams. The system manages the full lifecycle of derivative trades, including booking, allocation, settlement, corporate actions, reporting and other essential functions.This position offers a hybrid work model, with three days per week in our Kraków officeResponsibilities Provide technology solutions that address business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services Analyze business requirements for Lifecycle applications Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages Offer technical expertise and recommendations for new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing applications Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, while also participating in application architecture and design discussions Ensure appropriate operational controls and procedures are in place to support the transition from test to production environments Requirements 5+ years of experience in Java application development preferred Proficiency in tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, GitLab and Maven Skills in Java, Web Services (REST), JSON and web development Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot Background in messaging frameworks such as TIBCO, MQ and Kafka Competency in multi-threaded programming, memory management, profiling, virtualization and containerization Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+) Nice to haveFamiliarity with cloud integration and container servicesWe offer
