We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Data Scientist with a strong background in mathematics and statistics, preferably with research and civil engineering experience. This is not a typical coding or data engineering role – we need a data scientist who can work independently, engage directly with stakeholders, and take ownership of building and testing optimisation and forecasting algorithms.Main Tasks: Testing mathematical optimisation / prediction algorithms Discovering stakeholders needs Engaging with limited IT team and recommending appropriate solutions Must have requirements Coding skills Data science skills (actual maths/stats background Independency on working with IT/business stakeholders Nice to have requirements Research skills & track record Experience in civil engineering
