With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live. About the role:As a Senior IoT Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This team is focused on building and automating the entire IIoT data pipeline, from the equipment's Linux-based Edge Gateways to the cloud backend. The mission is to ensure the reliable, secure, and continuous deployment of intelligent software that drives operational efficiency across Alfa Laval's global machinery business lines.Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize backend software for gateways deployed across diverse Alfa Laval products and industries Develop, maintain, and optimize backend software for gateways deployed across diverse Alfa Laval products and industries Collaborate with tech lead and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, modular, and scalable IoT solutions Ensure high standards of cybersecurity, stability, and performance in harsh industrial environments Contribute to the design and implementation of containerized solutions (Docker) for various hardware platforms Support cloud integration (Azure) for device management, data collection, and remote updates Participate in agile planning, estimation, and team-driven workload management Requirements: 4+ years experience in edge development Hands-on experience of Linux Python & C# Knowledge Knowledge of serverless apps and functions Hands-on experience of Docker applications Experience with / understanding of Azure DevOps & Azure IoT Services Hands-on experience designing and securing robust OTA (Over The Air) mechanisms (e.g., A/B updates, delta patching) for managing firmware and application updates on a large fleet of remote devices What`s in it for you?
