In this role, you will take ownership of the Azure environment, working within a team led by Danish management.We are not interested in how many years you served in a corporate chair; we care about your capability. We need someone who can walk into a complex or chaotic environment, make sense of it, and set the standard for everyone else. If you are a strategic thinker who can also get hands-on to solve hard technical problems, this long-term role is for you. Main Responsibilities Own the networking strategy: You are the go-to person for the hard networking stuff. You need to design and manage complex setups involving ExpressRoutes, Private Links, Azure Firewall, DNS, and cross-region connectivity. Advise internal teams on their Azure operations, including data platform, BI and AI. Create and enforce standards and documentation for the platform. Design and manage the lifecycle of Azure Landing Zones. Define and enforce rules for identity and access using Microsoft Entra and Azure Policy. Set the direction for automation, DevOps, and FinOps practices within the CCoE.  Key Requirements Expert networking knowledge in Azure (VNETs, NSGs, Azure Firewall, etc.). Architectural experience with Azure Landing Zones. Ability to work independently and thrive in unstructured environments. Very deep general understanding of Azure. Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and/or Bicep. Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Great understanding of identity governance using RBAC, PIM, and Microsoft Entra. Education: Master’s degree in IT, Math, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields. Ability to document designs and explain them to others effectively.  Nice to HaveExperience with data-oriented Azure tech stacks.
