What you will do

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out manual and automated tests.
• Working on automated test systems and automated test strategies.
• Documenting test results and creating test reports.
• Analyzing requirements, creating and reviewing test cases and test plans.
• Monitoring compliance with quality standards in software development and metrics regarding software quality.
• Analyzing and documenting errors.
• Close cooperation with colleagues in testing and development.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance.
• Basic knowledge of test methods and test tools as well as agile software development processes
• Good technical understanding and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with test management systems and a ticket management system (preferably Jira) - nice to have
• Knowledge of tools and technologies like Jira, Selenium, JMeter, Rest API testing etc. - nice to have
• Initial knowledge of programming language, like Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices is a plus.
• Confident communication in English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
• Openness to a hybrid way of working. We meet in the Katowice office weekly.
