Position overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong expertise in Azure DevOps to join a global travel-tech company. This role involves designing and executing test plans, managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases following STLC best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality delivery.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps tools.
• Utilize Azure DevOps Test Plans, Work Items (Defects, User Stories), Boards, Queries, and Dashboards for test management and reporting.
• Work independently under minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery in an agile setting.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and automation.
• Apply experience in Dynamics 365 or the Travel domain for added value.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a proactive QA Engineer with strong test design skills and a solid understanding of STLC.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps (Test Plans, Work Items, Boards, Queries, Dashboards).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the Travel domain.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage tasks independently within 2–3 weeks of onboarding.
• Comfortable with flexible time zones (Singapore afternoon hours or UK business hours).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in Dynamics 365 and/or Travel domain.
