Your tasks
We are seeking a Head of Risk & Compliance, EMEA, focused on enabling and accelerating ServiceNow’s Financial Services go-to-market strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
This executive leader will be the regional face of ServiceNow’s Financial Services regulatory, risk, compliance, and operational resilience capabilities—partnering closely with customers, partners, industry bodies, and internal teams to shape market demand, build pipeline, influence strategy, and drive adoption of our industry solutions.

EMEA Customer & Market Leadership
Serve as the regional industry executive for Risk, Compliance, Controls, and Operational Resilience across Financial Services.
Engage C-level and senior leadership across marquee banks, insurers, and regulatory-facing organizations.
Represent ServiceNow at conferences, roundtables, working groups, and industry associations across DACH, France, Benelux, UKI, Southern Europe, and Middle East markets.
Translate evolving European regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, OSFI, ECB, FCA/PRA, BaFin MaRisk & BAIT) into actionable solution value propositions.
Partner with Account Executives, Industry Sellers, Solution Consultants, and Product Sales to accelerate deals and shorten cycles.
Embed industry narratives, benchmarks, regulatory POVs, and business-case framing into account strategies.
Sales Enablement & Field Scaling
Equip field sales, partners, and cross-functional teams with market insights, competitive knowledge, repeatable plays, and localized industry messaging.
Deliver high-impact enablement for regional teams to position ServiceNow as the platform of choice for risk, compliance, resilience, and regulatory operations transformation.
Partner Ecosystem Development
Shape and execute partner go-to-market priorities with top regional and global partners (e.g., Big 4, system integrators, boutique FS consultancies).
Drive joint pursuits, co-selling motions, and industry credibility through partner-led solutions and delivery capabilities.
Business Analysis, Reporting & Strategic Influence
Analyze market trends, pipeline performance, win/loss signals, competitive dynamics, and regulatory shifts across EMEA.
Advise senior leadership on go-to-market strategy, targeted investments, and regional acceleration opportunities.
Use data-driven insights to guide sales behaviors and focus on high-yield actions and markets.
Typical Day / Operating
Meet with senior banking and insurance executives to shape transformation visions.
Support high-value pursuits with marquee EMEA accounts.
Participate in C-suite customer workshops, industry forums, and risk & compliance roundtables.
Collaboration
Collaborate with partner leaders to develop joint offerings and accelerate pipeline.
Work with regional and global teams to refine messaging, improve execution, and inform future roadmap needs.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in European Financial Services, including regulatory expectations (ECB/SSM, BaFin, PRA, ACPR/AMF, DNB, EBA, ESMA, DORA), risk and compliance processes, operational resilience frameworks, and transformation patterns across banking, payments, insurance, and asset/wealth management.
The person thrives at the intersection of industry leadership, solution strategy, and customer engagement, and is energized by working across highly matrixed regional and global teams.
Qualifications
12+ years in Financial Services with leadership experience in Risk, Compliance, Operational Resilience, Controls, Regulatory Affairs, or related domains.
Strong knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations (e.g., ECB/SSM, BaFin, PRA/FCA, EBA, DORA, AMF/ACPR, DNB).
5+ years in enterprise software, SaaS, platform solutions, or consulting, selling into or advising Financial Services organizations.
Demonstrated success influencing senior executives and shaping multi-year strategic transformations.
Exceptional communication skills—able to synthesize complex regulatory and operational topics into crisp, compelling narratives.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a large, matrixed global organization and lead through influence.
Strong capability in PowerPoint and Excel for strategy creation, storytelling, and executive engagement.
Ability to travel up to 60% across EMEA.
Background in business consulting, solution consulting, product marketing, or industry advisory roles.
Experience working with regulators, supervisory bodies, or industry associations.
Familiarity with core banking, payments, insurance, and asset management operational landscapes.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, or related
