Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to shape the future of King’s Game Service Platform - Framework team that provides the unshakeable foundation for all Java development at King and supports some of the most popular mobile games in the world such as Candy Crush Saga.

More specifically, the Framework team curates and integrates the best available backend technologies, augmenting them with custom components when necessary, to deliver a standard, reliable, and secure framework. By abstracting complexity and embedding security, performance, stability, and operability, the team empowers developers to build and integrate operable services efficiently—reducing cognitive load and operational burden.

Your role within our Kingdom

As Engineering Manager in the Game Services Platform organization, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead a strong and talented team that is capable of evolving King’s internal technology ecosystem to fulfill the business needs. This role also requires a strong product mindset and proven stakeholder management skills, ensuring that the team delivers the right solutions that bring value to our internal customers.

• Foster an environment of trust and collaboration, where healthy debate drives innovation while maintaining alignment on strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering managers, Tech Directors, and stakeholders across multiple organizations to align priorities, define roadmaps, and ensure a strong balance between technical excellence and product value.
• Support the team for timely delivery of platform solutions.
• Grow the team through continuous improvement of team structure, ways of working and team culture.
