About the opportunity

Join our Core Systems domain as a Senior Backend Engineer on the Product Factory team. You’ll design and build high-performance, high-throughput, and highly configurable platforms that power our financial infrastructure. Your work will enable self-service configuration of core banking products such as spanning product definition, bookkeeping, account lifecycle, and regulatory reporting. These foundational platforms are essential for the entire organization, allowing teams across the company to quickly and reliably release innovative products to our customers. This is a hybrid role from our offices in either Berlin or Barcelona.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate closely with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Have opportunities to mentor junior members in the team by relentlessly guarding code quality through pull requests and helping them when they have questions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and you are not afraid to propose some findings during our Get Stuff Done Days.
• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards right across the product
