Summary

Responsible for servicing the Court House and other County building performing a variety of duties which may include, but are not limited to, the delivery of supplies, snow removal and minor repairs**.**

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of supplies, bottled water, furniture, etc. to various county locations, and the loading and unloading of the items and the distribution of same.
• Provide the setup for special events such as news conferences, dedications, etc. This will include providing appropriate seating podiums, speakers, water, etc. Setups may be required without prior notification.
• Responsible for snow/ice removal, cleaning the outside of county buildings, using sweepers, cleaning marble, digging, grout cleaning, etc.
• Snow emergencies will require mandatory overtime hours.
• Building Services personnel will receive any designated assignment from supervisors. Each chore will receive appropriate attention.
• Individual is required to be familiar and follow guidelines for the utilization of safety equipment for operating vehicles, trucks, sweepers, plows, power tools, etc..
• Training and discipline should be implemented at all times.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of mechanical repairs.
• Current valid PA drivers license.
• Good communication skills.
• Completion of Safety Training required.
• Basic knowledge of the use of power tools.

Ability to work in hot/cold/wet weather conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. Exposure to high levels of equipment noise.
