About the roleThe purpose of the Colleague Transformation Programme is to earn the trust of our colleagues in a simple and helpful way. The programme aims to provide colleagues with a better experience of working at Tesco, enhanced by technology that’s accessible anywhere and available to everyone. By reducing manual tasks and admin our Colleagues, Managers and People Partners will be able to focus on their work, building their skills and building teams.The Associate Product Manager will help build the vision for the Colleague Facts API and deliver it across every country Tesco operates in. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team as we are at the forefront of Tesco’s global technology transformation, so we have executive sponsorship and substantial budget. Experience in authentication and customer onboarding is a plus• Prioritising and allocating resources across a product portfolio serving different needs, objectives and timeframes• Taken at least 1 new product/idea from conception to go-live, through standard software product development lifecycle and got measurable success across defined KPIs• Understanding a typical Software Development Lifecycle• Understanding the concepts of user stories, personas, acceptance test criteria• Understanding Agile methodologies• Understanding tech debt and non-functional requirements like performance, security• Translating customer requirements into technical terms• Explaining technical capabilities and limitations to business stakeholders• Breaking down complex problems into small, deliverable chunks of work• Building, maintaining and prioritising a product backlog using tools such as Jira• Documenting and explaining new requirements to engineers using tools such as Confluence/Jira/Miro• Working in cross-functional teams distributed across multiple countriesAbout usTesco is a leading multinational retailer, with more than 330 000 colleagues.  Our software is used by millions of people across several countries every day.
