Location: On-site • Ambler, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours/week

Compensation: $40,000–$44,000 (based on abbreviated work week)

Reports To: Center Manager/Director

The Role

We’re seeking an outgoing, engaging Senior Activities Coordinator who can design inspirational, modern programming that resonates across today’s generations of aging adults, from active 50-somethings to older seniors. If you’re a natural host, a creative planner, and a connector who turns ideas into full rooms and smiling faces, this is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the monthly calendar: plan, schedule, and promote social, educational, fitness, arts, tech, and intergenerational programs.
  • Lead the energy: facilitate classes/events; welcome participants; build a warm, inclusive culture.
  • Listen & tailor: conduct brief interest check-ins; adapt activities for different abilities.
  • Partner & recruit: engage local instructors, volunteers, and community organizations to expand offerings.
  • Support operations: manage supplies, room setup, safety, and help with special events and fundraising.
  • Equity & inclusion: ensure every participant feels seen, safe, and welcome.

You Bring

  • Experience planning programs for older adults (senior center, parks & rec, adult education, community arts, faith/community org).
  • Magnetic interpersonal skills, you greet by name, remember stories, and energize a room.
  • Organization + follow-through: calendars, logistics, budgets, vendor coordination.
  • Tech-comfortable: Windows, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher/PowerPoint).
  • Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs; frequent walking/standing; reasonable accommodations available.

Nice to Have

Group facilitation experience, CPR/First Aid, bilingual (Spanish or other), volunteer coordination, social media/event promotion.
