Your responsibilities

  • Managing and supervising a team of about 12 specialists and experts
  • Independently or through a team performing highly specialized services in a diverse, complex field requiring practical knowledge of various procedures, practices, conditions, dependencies, including external conditions, along with an assessment of the risk of decisions made
  • Independently performing tasks by applying practical operational solutions
  • Independently performing tasks aimed at a common, complex goal
  • Optimizing the use of resources and optimizing the solutions used
  • Supervision over the preparation of documents, reports and statements
  • Control of the implementation of imposed standards, selection of procedures optimal for the situation
  • Defining priorities in the current, operational work organization along with defining the final stage of the process
  • Independently providing highly specialized services in the scope of comprehensive handling of a larger number of reporting and accounting areas, including tasks related to, among others, the calculation of CIT and deferred income tax, VAT settlements, cost settlement and preparation of financial statements
  • Solving problems related to specialized accounting issues, falling within the existing standards or practices
  • Performing the role of a leader in the implemented processes, seeking solutions to improve given processes in order to increase their efficiency
  • Job location also in Płock

Our requirements

  • Required knowledge of German accounting, economic principles and tax regulations - at a level and in a scope exceeding the directly performed tasks in the position
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position and in providing accounting services for Germany or Austria based entities
  • German language C1
  • SAP knowledge – good to have
  • Experience in process transitions and transformations
  • Higher education in the field supplemented by postgraduate studies and/or courses, training
  • Commitment to achieving goals
