Your responsibilities

• Building and grow scalable apps using Node.js - the kind that can handle whatever comes their way.
• Keeping things running fast and smooth by making sure your code is well-optimized.
• Writing clean, readable code that follows good practices.
• Reviewing your teammates' code, share helpful feedback, and learn from each other.
• Hunting down bugs and performance issues - and fixing them.
• Staying curious and keep up with new tools, tech, and trends in the dev world.
• Working in an Agile setup - daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retros? You know the drill.
• Keeping your docs in check - clear architecture and API documentation helps everyone.
• Jumping into architecture and feature design discussions, cause. your ideas matter here.

Our requirements

• Experience:
• - 5+ years of experience or proven track record of using Node.js with TypeScript on commercial projects.
• Tech skills:
• - Very good knowledge of TypeScript,
• - Very good knowledge of Node.js,
• - Knowledge of ElasticSearch databases,
• - Knowledge of GraphQL query language,
• - Knowledge of NestJS framework incl. Nx and microservice architecture.
• - Familiarity with DDD approach, Event driven architecture and Hexagonal/Clean Architecture,
• Soft skills:
• - At least B2 in English – we work internationally, so that’s a must,
• - Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills – we’re a team and we want you to be a part of it!
• - Ability and will to share your knowledge with more junior members of the team,
• - Proactive attitude towards implementing changes,
• - Attention to detail.

Optional

• - Experience with Event Sourcing,
• - Familiarity with AI Engineering,
• - Knowledge of CQRS,
• - Knowledge of Python,
• - Passion for new technologies and startups,
• - Pet projects, presence in the Node.js community.
• - Any other programming languages and frameworks.
