Your responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry
• Process account documents
• Double-check batch numbers, invoice details, and document accuracy as part of routine work
• Prepare monthly accounting documentation for month-end closing
• Track and organise stock movements
• Keep accurate records of all financial transactions and stock movements
• Maintain documentation for statistical reporting
• Monitor liabilities, payment schedules, and stock
• Submit INTRASTAT reports monthly
• Assist in audits, and financial reporting
• Liaise with external accounting office for statutory reporting and records
• With time, represent the company before tax, customs, and accounting authorities

Our requirements

• Aspiring certified accountant with foundational experience
• Familiar with Polish accounting standards and regulations
• Strong knowledge of accounting basics and VAT procedures
• Organised, reliable, and able to take ownership of tasks
• Excellent attention to detail, focused, structured, and thorough
• Confident with Excel and accounting software
• Able to work in both English and Polish

Optional

• SAP experience
• Experience with customs and excise import/export procedures
• Knowledge of international VAT rules and regulations
• Previous self-managed accounting experience
