Your responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify potential clients and partners.
  • Proactively seek out and engage new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Create and execute comprehensive business plans aimed at achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments to maximize impact.
  • Work closely with R&D, Production, Supply Chain and other departments to align efforts and ensure cohesive execution of business strategies.
  • Share insights and feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Track progress against defined goals, analyse sales data, and derive actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Prepare reports on business development activities and outcomes for management review.
  • Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure favourable terms and conditions that benefit the company.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to enhance knowledge and build connections.

Employer requirements

  • Prior experience in working with automotive, rolling stock, heavy- duty or industrial clients (Tier1, Tier2 Companies).
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field would be a significant advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English is essential in this role.
  • Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to persuade and close deals effectively.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Capability to develop and implement effective business strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in analysing data, identifying challenges, and developing strategic solutions.
  • Business Acumen and Knowledge: Solid understanding of business principles, financial analysis, and market dynamics.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain a network of professional contacts.
