Your responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Scope Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure efficient use of resources and on-time project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide training, guidance and support to team members and colleagues to achieve project goals and foster a cultural change towards continual improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with business expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project performance, analyse progress against key milestones, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Our requirements

  • Education: Appropriate Qualification(s) in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects in a high throughput, multi factor service oriented environment.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to all levels of the organisation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, and team members.

Optional

  • Experience in contract testing laboratories is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience and understanding of Lean 6 Sigma, and adoption into project planning and implementation.
