Your responsibilities

  • Take charge of the preparation and generation of customer invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and oversee accurate records of customer transactions and account balances in the accounting system, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support the reconciliation of customer accounts, including investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to perform month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
  • Prepare AR reports, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts, and monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment while resolving any discrepancies with customers.
  • Participate in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in the AR function, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide effective customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, creating positive relationships.
  • Support the AR Team Leader in various strategic projects and tasks as required, contributing to the effective functioning of the finance department.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role, especially in a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and completing projects on time in a stimulating work atmosphere.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities, with a motivated approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with accounting software, particularly D365 or similar ERP systems.
  • Fluency in English.
