Your responsibilities

• Providing cost intelligence and data analysis to guide design and sourcing decisions
• Identifying cross-PD sourcing synergies and optimal technologies to drive cost reductions
• Performing Material Design for Excellence (DfX) assessments during PTM phases
• Engaging in Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) activities and cost-reduction (Kaizen) initiatives in collaboration with PD teams
• Maximizing supplier contributions to Markem-Imaje (e.g. productivity, technology, and flexibility) by identifying the best supplier fit and driving improvements within VAVE and concurrent engineering projects
• Developing material cost models and should-cost analyses to support project costing, competitor benchmarking, negotiation preparations, and category strategies

Our requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Bac +5). Technical background in electrics and electronics is necessary
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes acquired through both academic trainings and operational experience, allowing to identify optimal methods of manufacturing and to point out potential DFM issues
• Practical knowledge of costing models & material cost structure, as well as basic Financials
• Experienced in supplier management (supplier screening, RFQ process, supplier onboarding, SRM, etc) and Negotiation
• Knowledge of Lean tools (VSM, Kaizen etc.), Product & Process Design, Statistics (SPC, 6 Sigma etc.) would be an advantage
• English: at least B2 level
