Requirements description

• 4+ years of experience in data management, analysis, or solution architecture
• Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and lineage
• Practical experience with data warehouses and databases (e.g., Snowflake, DB2)
• Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as DBT, Alteryx, or similar
• Familiarity with BI tools like PowerBI or QlikView
• Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders independently
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial services projects

• Familiarity with data testing and data quality best practices

About the project:

Join a strategic data initiative for a financial services client where your role will be crucial in analyzing current data processes, modeling data flow, and designing the target data landscape. The project involves both legacy systems analysis and defining future state architecture, with a focus on quality, scalability, and integration from strategic data sources.

Your responsibilities

1. Analyzing legacy systems and documenting current data lineage (sources, transformations, destinations)
2. Creating data flow diagrams and technical documentation
3. Designing target state data solutions, focusing on acquisition and integration
4. Evaluating data quality and relevance for business use
5. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and validate requirements
6. Supporting the integration of ETL/ELT and visualization tools within a modern data architecture
