Requirements description

• 8+ years of experience of managing Oracle Database version 12c to 19c (RAC, Data Guard)

• Operating system experience in Linux

• Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump)

• Architecture design principles

• Creating PDB Services

• Handling different types of Data guard issues

• Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (19c)

• Good Knowledge on Oracle Golden gate - understanding of process flow, Downstream databases, OGG start stop

• Good knowledge on Storage

• Good knowledge on FSFO problem solving, observers

• Good knowledge on process - change management, Incident management

• Knowledge on Oracle SR handling

• Knowledge on OEM architecture, and managing OEM matrices

Your responsibilities

1. Preparing the pre-production environment to enable Fast-Start Failover (FSFO)
2. Synchronizing Oracle Data Guard and resolving any issues or errors
3. Rebuilding the standby database when required
4. Creating and validating database services, including on PDB level
5. Creating new databases and migrating existing PDBs to new containers
6. Activating FSFO and troubleshooting any FSFO-related problems
