Requirements description

• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and datacenter environments
• Strong background in both Windows and Linux system administration
• Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls, and Switches
• Experience with data center management (physical and virtual)
• Strong understanding of network security, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle
• Broad industry knowledge and awareness of infrastructure trends and standards
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide technical teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in German (required)
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate with international teams

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Consultant or Manager who can act as a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, helping to define team goals, improve processes, and drive the implementation of robust, scalable infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms (on-premises and cloud).

The role will involve remote collaboration with our team located in Landsweiler, Germany.

Your responsibilities

1. Lead and support the integration and alignment of IT and Datacenter operations
2. Advise on and implement best practices for infrastructure and systems management
3. Define objectives and long-term strategies for infrastructure teams
4. Oversee physical and virtual data center environments and ensure operational stability
5. Collaborate closely with technical teams in Germany and Portugal
6. Ensure robust network security, disaster recovery, and backup procedures are in place
