Requirements description

• 4+ years of experience in data or backend engineering, with strong proficiency in Python for data tasks.
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying complex data applications.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration and processing tools such as Apache Airflow and Apache Spark.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make strategic prioritization decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player, capable of working cross-functionally.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience developing agents or agent-based systems (e.g, LangGraph or other LangChain based frameworks)
• Familiarity with data science libraries and tools such as pandas, Hugging Face, and the OpenAI API.
• Experience with public cloud platforms — preferably GCP — and cloud-native data services.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

About the Role:

trust. You will:

-Architect and evolve our real-time data platform powering AI-driven product enrichment and attribution pipelines — handling high throughput, low-latency needs, and operational rigor.

-Own the backend stack: Python services, Airflow/Spark/streaming pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployment, CI/CD, containerization.

- Collaborate directly with senior engineering leaders, including VPs and technical founders, to define architecture, evaluate tooling choices, an set standards for reliability, scalability, and security.

-Shape the platform strategy, choosing between open-source, cloud-native tools or custom-built systems for future-proof performance.

-Guiding best practices in code, systems thinking, operational readiness, and scalability.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines for efficient processing and analysis.
2. Build and maintain robust data acquisition systems to collect, process, and store data from diverse sources.
3. Take part in developing Harmonya’s agentic capabilities.
4. Collaborate with DevOps, Data Science, and Product teams to understand needs and deliver tailored data solutions
5. Monitor data pipelines and production environments proactively to detect and resolve issues promptly.
6. Apply best practices for data security, integrity, and performance across all systems.
