Project and Programme Manager

Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Project and Programme Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution known for its innovative approach to banking and investment services. You will be joining a high-performing team focused on delivering strategic solutions for trading and sales operations across multiple regions. This project involves managing the full lifecycle of complex technology-driven initiatives within the FX and fixed income space, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory frameworks. You will play a critical role in transforming business requirements into actionable delivery plans within an Agile environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading end-to-end project management activities

  • Defining scope and creating detailed project plans with clear milestones

  • Coordinating delivery efforts across business, technology, and operational teams

  • Managing risks, dependencies, and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders

  • Scoping delivery requirements in collaboration with Product Owners

  • Aligning business and technical milestones with gathered requirements

  • Overseeing vendor relationships and third-party service delivery

  • Assessing and translating trading and sales needs into project deliverables

  • Driving Agile practices and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Monitoring progress and reporting on project status to senior stakeholders

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience leading complex projects within financial services

  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement across global teams

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Experience delivering projects in Agile environments

  • Ability to anticipate and proactively resolve project issues

  • Understanding of FX, EM Rates, Fixed Income, or Equities products

  • Track record of improving team capability and delivery outcomes

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience working on FX or AI-related projects

  • Familiarity with succession planning and talent management

  • Background managing third-party vendors and service providers

  • Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders in IT and Business

  • Experience in reconciling competing demands in ambiguous environments
