General Ledger Team Leader

Location: Warszawa

As the Team Leader of GL department you will be responsible for managing team members, overviewing of the processes, ensuring correctness and driving work improvements initiatives.

• Type of project: Accountancy
• Location: Warsaw; hybrid work model
• Type of employment: 1-year contract of employment (with the possibility of extension)
• Salary range: 17000 - 20000 PLN gross

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing of GL related activities, e.g. journal bookings, month-end closings, accounts reconciliations, intercompany processes, reporting, etc.
• Leading and managing GL team
• Ensuring correctness and timely manner of the financial processes and transactions in accordance with accounting regulations and company's standards
• Monitoring KPIs compliance
• Participating in audits and internal controls
• Maintaining strong relationships with financial units (globally) and stakeholders
• Actively driving work improvements initiatives and assisting in implementation projects

Requirements:

• +5 years of professional experience in General Ledger area (preferably in SSC/BPO environment)
• Educational background (in finance/accounting or similar)
• Team management experience
• Knowledge of SAP
• Fluency in English & Polish
• Great communication & analytical skills
