About the project

• We are looking for a Senior Vue.js Developer proficient in Python to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.
• You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer.
• The program involves a wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams.
• Our scope is to develop applications that support pilots and crew, the airline in planning the flights, airports operations in modern technologies in mainly 2 streams: with frontend on Vue.js/TypeScript and backend in .NET and Java. All applications are deployed to AWS Cloud.
• Note that we can offer cooperation only to candidates located in Poland (preferably Silesia or Gdańsk).

Your responsibilities

• Your mission as a front-end developer, is to develop the front-end layer of the application.
• Continue the development on the Python code provided by the client as a base
• Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
• Help to define requirements and implement software designs
• Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
• Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques

Our requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development with JavaScript (Vue.js)
• Solid IT technical background
• Medium Python knowledge
• Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
• Git knowledge
• Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Fluent English B2/C1
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice/Gdańsk
