We are looking for a high-performing Commercial Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative in the CEE region. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
Key areas covered will be:
Business Growth & Expansion
• Identify and assess new commercial opportunities across CEE countries, focusing on key markets. This includes product expansion, line extensions, co-promotions with local partners, new partnerships.
• Support strategic evaluations for new market entries, encompassing market mapping, competitor analysis, and understanding the local healthcare ecosystem.
• Build and maintain a robust network of external stakeholders (potential partners, local pharma players, etc.).
Partnerships & External Collaboration
• Scout, initiate, and support negotiations for potential commercial partnerships in the region.
• Ensure a seamless handover and provide support to new partners during onboarding and execution phases in line with Aspen policies.
Commercial Projects & Initiatives
• Lead or support cross-functional projects related to commercial readiness, new product introduction, product re-launch supported by tailored marketing activities,
• Act as the market expert for CEE driving commercial initiatives and providing insights and strategic input.
• Drive initiatives to optimize go-to-market strategies for selected assets or portfolios.
• Focus on the growth and development of the CEE market.
Internal Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate closely with cross functional team (Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure readiness and alignment for commercial opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
• Continuously monitor market trends, healthcare policies, regulatory changes and competitor movements across CEE.
• Provide actionable insights to shape the CEE region’s growth agenda.
• Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports, along with sales trends monitoring in market, to the management team.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts, staying fully aware of new products and the competitive landscape.
Pipeline & Opportunity evaluation
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new markets, products, and partnerships, to drive growth in the CEE region.
• Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of business development opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Legal, Regulatory, and Finance, to assess the feasibility and alignment of potential opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and structure deals that align with the company's strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Track and report on the performance of business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
This role will be responsible for overseeing 14 markets within the CEE region and will require the
job holder to travel frequently for business (up to 20% of the time).
Our requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably within business administration or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial manager,
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience working within the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to work under pressure independently as a commercial manager
Highly adaptable, culturally sensitive individual with proven track in CEE markets
knowledge of key markets, expertise in OTC products, RX -prescription, MD
High communication skills and ability to work with cross functional Team and multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of other CEE languages besides Polish and English (desirable)
