Your responsibilities

• Sustainable accompaniment and development of one or more agile teams, as well as creating an optimal environment for improving the effectiveness of the teams of specialists who take care of middleware systems for Lufthansa Group companies - administrators and developers,
• Supporting your teammates, product owner and leadership in putting the necessary practices and tools in place (e.g. workshops, scaling patterns) for enable an empirical approach to work,
• Coaching teams to implement Agile principles and Scrum/Kanban values,
• Enabling the removal of, and at times clearing of, impediments impacting the team in order to enable the team’s progress,
• Identifying of group dynamics and their impact on the team, as well as using models of team building in order to optimize collaboration,
• Proactively establishing a culture of transparency and open exchange within both the team(s) and the organization,
• Supporting product management and teams in how to handle new circumstances, changes, and further advancements of the organization,
• Cooperate with other Scrum Masters,
• Collaboration in the cross-organizational teams of Lufthansa Systems, Lufthansa Group companies and their suppliers,
• Taking on special assignments as necessary.

Our requirements

• Practical experience as a Scrum Master (at least 3 years, preferably being SM for more than one team during that time),
• Experience in working in a complex and multicultural environment,
• Very good level of communication in English and Polish (being able to conduct business in both languages in speech and writing),
• Proficiency in understanding and implementing Kanban principles, practices, and techniques to optimize workflow and increase efficiency.
• Experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining Kanban boards to visualize work
• Experience in guiding teams and stakeholders through organizational changes or transitions to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with Agile practices.
• High degree of interpersonal skills and ability to include others,
• Customer-service orientation, as well as the ability to be assertive,
• Fine grasp of corporate and strategic understanding as well as a high willingness to innovate,
• You are known as being outcome-oriented and distinctively communicative,
• You enjoy the acting in the role of Scrum/Kanban/Agile Master,
• Willingness to come into the office in Gdańsk at least twice a week,
• Higher education.

Optional

• Good knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or other Agile Frameworks (a practical approach),
• German or/and Spanish language skills,
• Open mind, thinking out of the box, no fear to make mistakes,
• Understanding of modern software development practices: Continuous Integration, BDD, Continuous Delivery.
