Your responsibilities

• The role of Computer Science Teacher in the upper primary school (Years 7–8) and in the secondary school (Sixth Form) is combined with responsibilities as IT Technician across both school campuses. The schools are private institutions delivering education based on Polish and the Cambridge International curriculum, with lessons conducted in English.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Teaching Responsibilities
• \* Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate Computer Science lessons
• \* Develop students’ digital literacy, programming skills, and critical thinking through a range of creative and challenging projects.
• \* Assess, record, and report on students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• \* Participate in subject planning, curriculum review, and professional development initiatives.
• \* Contribute to the wider school life, including assemblies, extracurricular activities, and school events.
• Technical Support Responsibilities
• \* Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support issues for staff and students, including hardware, software, and connectivity.
• \* Manage and maintain school IT infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, printers, Wi-Fi networks, projectors, and classroom technology.
• \* Assist in the development and maintenance of the school’s digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace).

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification and experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
• Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Proficiency in managing both hardware and software systems, as well as cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is essential
• A collaborative approach and the ability to balance teaching and technical responsibilities effectively.
• Experience in teaching in line with the Cambridge International curriculum and an understanding of digital pedagogy would be a strong asset.
