Your responsibilities

• Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across all group entities during a period of significant transformation. This interim role has been created to fill the vacancy left by the Group Finance Manager, who will be leading the implementation of a consolidation system
• What will you be doing?
• Prepare multi-currency consolidation of group accounts (monthly, quarterly, full year)
• Support the quarterly forecasting cycle & annual budgeting process
• Prepare the financial sections of the annual/quarterly reports and ensure that all disclosures are complete and compliant with IFRS
• Work directly with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, manage updates to Group accounting policies, and provide technical accounting support
• Support in acquisition accounting (IFRS 3) for newly acquired subsidiaries
• Perform Group-level accounting for goodwill impairments, leases, share-based payments, and expected credit losses
• Coordination of activities with global finance teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• You will have:
• Accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade, and influence effectively
• Previous experience in a similar group position
• including experience of providing financial control across a group of companies
• Experience working for or with multinational FTSE / listed companies, demonstrating strong technical skills
• Previous experience delivering group monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory financial reporting, and an external audit process
• Good financial understanding and fully conversant with accounts
• Strong technical proficiency in IFRS
• Solid experience in multi-currency group consolidations
• Technology savvy with experience in using systems to automate activities
• Desirable
• Preference for consulting and/or contracting background
• NetSuite / Power BI or other reporting tools
