Your responsibilities

  • Independently providing highly specialized services in the scope of comprehensive handling of a larger number of reporting and accounting areas, including tasks related to, among others, the calculation of CIT and deferred income tax, VAT settlements, cost settlement and preparation of financial statements
  • Solving problems related to specialized accounting issues, falling within the existing standards or practices based on the analysis of past events and adapting them to new conditions
  • Performing the role of a leader in the implemented processes, seeking solutions to improve given processes in order to increase their efficiency
  • Communicating within a given decision-making process with an internal client, internal contacts with various organizational units and external contacts
  • Creating new solutions based on the adopted Company policy, operational and business plans, and based on the ability to integrate theoretical knowledge from various fields related to a specific area of ​​the Company's operations
  • Making decisions that require considering many possibilities and selecting the best solution, taking into account its effects and influences on a given process (including financial effects)
  • Making decisions based on the policy and strategy adopted in the Company and based on a good understanding of the so-called best practices on the market
  • Carrying out multi-level, specialist short- and long-term analyses in order to select the best solutions for a given process operating in a given area of ​​the Company
  • Maintaining substantive cooperation with external institutions within the scope of the work being carried out
  • Taking responsibility for maximizing benefits within a designated area of ​​operation by optimizing the use of own resources
  • Coordinating tasks within a given team. Defining priorities in current, operational work and coordinating tasks in the assigned area. Providing substantive support to employees in the team who are in lower positions
  • Communicating with the direct superior and co-workers in the scope of the accounting process. Providing additional explanations and instructions and formulating recommendations. Internal contacts with various organizational units and external contacts. Contacts affecting the proper functioning of the company in specific areas
  • Job location also in Płock

Our requirements

  • Required knowledge of German accounting, economic principles and tax regulations - at a level and in a scope exceeding the directly performed tasks in the position
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position and in providing accounting services for Germany or Austria based entities
  • German language C1
  • Good knowledge of SAP-FI CO, HYPERION systems are required
  • Experience in process transitions and transformations
  • Higher education in the field supplemented by postgraduate studies and/or courses, training.
