About the project

• We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help design and build scalable Data Hubs supporting analytical, reporting, operational, and Generative AI use cases. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to shape best practices, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure delivery of robust and scalable data solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable Data Hubs, integrating diverse data sources
• Defining and enforcing standards, best practices, and architecture patterns across teams
• Mentoring data engineers and guiding technical decisions through code reviews and strategic input
• Building robust batch and real-time data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark
• Implementing monitoring, data validation, and anomaly detection mechanisms
• Automating infrastructure and deployment workflows with CI/CD tools

Our requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend development
• Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL for data processing and automation
• Deep understanding of Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
• Proficiency in the Azure Data Stack, including Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Event Hubs
• Experience with streaming data and real-time analytics solutions
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within engineering teams
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
