About the project

  • Our IT R&D team in the Polish part of bolttech consists of over 60 people, including Developers, PMs, Leaders, and Testers. We create software for internal business needs, including integration with external partners. The systems are also developed by external suppliers. The IT Architecture and Integration team you will lead currently consists of 4 people. This team is responsible for integration between systems, standards in the SDLC process, architecture, and development of shared services.
  • In this role, you will combine the functions of an Engineering Lead and a Team Lead, thus performing a role that both creates software development standards, design and build it solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Defining technical goals and roadmap in response to the organization's strategy and needs.
  • Creating IT solutions concepts based on collected business requirements and actively participate in implementation.
  • Searching for optimal IT solutions
  • Standardization of IT architecture and integration
  • Standardization of SSDLC processes and tools.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Backlog management of your team (common services and integration)
  • Team work management (delegating tasks, motivation)
  • Development of team members, including leadership, mentoring and coaching,
  • Planning and verification of tasks based on established priorities and goals
  • Cooperation with Technical Solution Managers, stakeholders, Product Owners, external customers and suppliers
  • Improving processes organizing team work
  • Implementing best practices in IT Systems development (design patterns, methodology, toolset)
  • Defining and measurement of IT systems metrics
  • Verification and evaluation of proposals for technological changes
  • Analysing and assessing team work results for the purpose of optimizing organizational processes
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date and inspire others.
  • Additional tasks assigned by the superior

Our requirements

  • …we expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies and skills:
  • Education: Preferred higher education in Computer Science or other technological fields
  • Experience:
  • • Minimum 2 years as an IT manager of a development team
  • • Minimum 2 years in a similar position as a technology leader (e.g.IT Solutions Architect)
  • • Minimum 3 years as an active developer (preferred technology .Net)
  • Technical Skills:
  • • Broad IT knowledge in the area of cloud solutions
  • • Expert level in .Net and architecture
  • • Very good understanding of Microsoft .Net technologies
  • • Very good knowledge of Jira
  • • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud solutions
  • • Knowledge of programming tools and CI/CD
  • • Familiarity with UML notation and architectural design tools
  • • Experience in defining architecture, integration – knowledge of design patterns, performance, scalability, and security issues of IT systems
  • • Experience as an IT systems developer (object-oriented language, integrations, services, components, databases)
  • • Experience in shaping architecture and designing using tools like Enterprise Architect
  • Managerial and Organizational Skills:
  • • Leadership skills and assertiveness
  • • Ability to manage scope and planning
  • • Excellent organizational skills
  • • Very good communication skills in Polish and English (minimum C1)
