Your responsibilities

• In ECCO, our ambition is to become a data-driven organization. The Business Intelligence Team is realizing this goal. We handle all sorts of data sources and combine them into a single common data platform.
• We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical BI Developer/Data Engineer to join our BI Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering, as well as experience working with large and complex datasets.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to support our business intelligence and data analysis needs. This will include working with data from a variety of sources, including transactional databases, web APIs, and flat files. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining dataset, dashboards and reports to help our team make data-driven decisions.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one BI tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with DAX and building tabular models in Power BI or similar tools
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) and experience building data pipelines
• Experience working with data from SAP - Sales and distribution module will be a big plus
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, including fluent English
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
