Your responsibilities

  • As the P&C Manager for the People & Culture Global Knowledge Centre (GKC) in Gdańsk, you will partner with leadership to ensure people operations run smoothly and in full compliance with local labor law and global policy. You’ll lead local talent acquisition and onboarding, performance and development processes, employee engagement efforts, payroll coordination, and day-to-day HR decision-making. You will also represent the voice of the people, balancing compliance with a caring and people-first approach.
  • What You'll Do:
  • • Advise leadership on org structure, workforce planning, and people decisions
  • • Represent the people perspective in management meetings
  • • Ensure all people actions are compliant with policy and labor law
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • • Lead recruitment efforts for GKC roles in partnership with Regional TA
  • • Interview key candidates and manage cultural fit evaluations
  • • Design and run onboarding and integration programs for new hires
  • Performance & Development:
  • • Lead performance review and development processes locally
  • • Coach managers on goal setting, feedback, and employee growth
  • • Identify top talent and support succession planning
  • Compensation & Payroll Administration:
  • • Own local payroll accuracy and coordination (internal or vendor-supported)
  • • Ensure timely, compliant salary processing and bonus application
  • • Approve local comp changes and manage employee queries
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • • Be the point of contact for all employee questions, concerns, and conflicts
  • • Mediate and resolve workplace issues in line with company values
  • • Champion employee experience and lead engagement initiatives
  • Policy Compliance & Reporting:
  • • Ensure legal and internal compliance for all HR processes
  • • Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g. ZUS, PFRON)
  • • Keep accurate records and provide timely reporting to leadership
  • Training, Culture & Welfare:
  • • Organize and support development initiatives for the GKC team
  • • Roll out global programs locally (engagement surveys, DEI, etc.)
  • • Coordinate with Office Manager on site wellbeing and safety

Employer requirements

  • Professional Profile:
  • • 8+ years of progressive experience in P&C/HR, including as HRBP and HR Manager
  • • Experience in implementing HR processes in the process of building a new SSC needed
  • • Experience working in a shared services, corporate, or international environment
  • • Experience managing or coordinating payroll and compensation processes
  • • Excellent knowledge of Polish labor law and regulatory requirements
  • • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ethical integrity
  • • People-first mindset with strong emotional intelligence
  • • Proven ability to support, coach, and challenge senior leadership
  • Your Background:
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • • Fluent in English and Polish
  • • Certifications in HR, labor law, or payroll are a plus
  • • Familiarity with core P&C systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors)
