As a Structural Mechanics Engineer at MTU Aero Engines Poland, you will:
• Co-design and perform structural assessments of aircraft engine components,
• Solve complex design challenges across the product lifecycle – from development and testing to engine service support,
• Apply numerical and analytical methods to support engineering decisions,
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including aerodynamics, materials science, design, thermal, project, and repair engineering.
Our requirements
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering or a related field,
Solid understanding of mechanics and structural analysis,
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA),
Previous experience in a similar engineering role,
Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to tackle complex problems,
Proactive attitude, innovative thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement,
Excellent communication and teamwork skills,
Fluency in English (spoken and written).

If you have a solid foundation in structural mechanics but limited exposure to flow machines, we’ll guide you through the principles of turbomachinery design and analysis during your onboarding period.
