About the project

• We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to support the design process, deployment, and maintenance of physical security systems across multiple facilities as per DSV Physical Security Standards, including Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS / CCTV).

Your responsibilities

• Responsibility for preparing the applications’ instances in a datacentre for new building sites
• Overall governance of supported security systems: Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance
• Create and update documentation; actively build team’s knowledge base. Standard Operating Procedures creation
• Monitor and test application performance
• Continuous Improvement and Technology teams on identifying business requirements for new solutions and systems
• Preparing, pre-configuring, instances of application software and system management tools
• Management of all test and pre-prod environments
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues and clearly demonstrate implications and impacts to the business
• Identify the processes and technology required to introduce your recommendations as best solution
• Cooperation with internal/external employees
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Ensure systems are configured properly after building project ended
• Automation of operational tasks
• Maintain roadmap of Video surveillance and security technologies by investigating new emerging, relevant technologies
• Close cooperation with other departments in Global IT: Network Team responsible for Wireless designs and LAN Designs, IT Security, Server Operations, Enterprise Architecture

Our requirements

• Fluency in oral and written English – minimum B2+ level
• Basic knowledge of Video Management, Access Control and Intrusion Detection systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, AD DS, IIS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Virtualization, SQL
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Advance knowledge of supporting business level applications
• Good understanding of basic network technologies
• Knowledge of IP-based CCTV & Video Management systems and Access Control systems
• Creating and maintaining video surveillance and security infrastructure
• Teamwork in an international environment
• Responsibility, ability to carry out tasks independently, structured and methodical approach

Optional

• Basic LAN infrastructure knowledge, including an understanding of structured cabling (horizontal and backbone cabling)
• Experience in preparing passive network designs, such as IT room layout and cabling documentation in line with corporate standards
• Familiarity with IT cabinet specifications (rack types, power, cooling considerations, and patch panel planning) for hosting ACS, IDS, and VSS equipment
• Understanding of PoE power budgets, IP addressing schemes, and VLAN configuration for security devices
