About the project

• We’re a team of 65 passionate tech professionals in Warsaw, collaborating closely with colleagues in the UK. Our culture is built on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement—and we're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our dedicated, friendly and growing Trading Team to deliver critical new functionality to our clients and internal users. Your responsibilities

• Writing high quality code adhering to agreed team and regulatory standards as well as review of others code
• Working collaboratively with the team to help deliver significant new features for the business
• Providing engineering support for existing applications when necessary
• Ensuring existing and newly developed solutions are reliable, secure, performant and maintainable
• Maintaining awareness of current secure coding practices and ensuring code produced is in line with these
• Developing and evidencing automated tests alongside code produced
• Documenting all solutions, produced to agreed team standards
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn technologies & techniques embraced by the development team
• Cultivate strong working relationships within the squad and across the organization
• Actively participating in working groups and communities of practice designed to support the development team
• Continually developing both technical and interpersonal skills

Our requirements

• 3+ years of solid commercial experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and React
• Experience with AWS Cloud services (Security, Identity & Compliance, Compute, Database, Networking & Content Delivery)
• Practical experience with design and integration patterns, as well as programming and testing best practices
• Comfortable working within a Scrum/Agile team environment
• Skilled in developing secure and maintainable code
• Experience with Docker
• C1-level proficiency in both English and Polish – you will use both languages in all aspects of your daily work.
• Collaborative and communicative – you work well with others, share knowledge, and express ideas clearly
• Quality-driven with a continuous improvement mindset – you take pride in delivering clean, secure, and maintainable code while seeking ways to improv
• Eager to learn and adapt – you embrace new ideas and grow with your team.
• Comfortable in Agile environments – you thrive in cross-functional collaboration and value constructive feedback.
