Cost Optimization: identify cost drivers and provide transparency to highlight potential cost optimization opportunities
Project Management: work independently on your topics, taking end-to-end responsibility for your projects
Collaboration: engage in close exchange within the cost analyst network of the VW Group, contributing across brands
Local Supplier Knowledge: utilize your knowledge of the local supplier base to realize potentials for the group
Continuous Improvement: participate in the continuous development of know-how and tools as part of your daily work
Production Technology: strengthen your understanding of production technology through internal team exchanges and visits to suppliers' factories
Our requirements
Bachelor's degree in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive / production engineering or technical vocational training with several years of professional experience
Technical Expertise: strong technical understanding and broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
Professional Experience: several years of professional experience in costing.
Supplier Market Knowledge: in-depth knowledge of the local supplier market and their capabilities.
Negotiation Skills: experience in negotiations and confidence in challenging situations.
Language Skills: fluent in business English (C1); proficiency in German (B2) is beneficial.
Software Proficiency: experience with the calculation system TcPCM is an advantage.
Analytical Skills: strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
International Communication: experience working and communicating with international teams.
