About the project

• We as FIEGE truely believe that a tech first logistics company should own a first choice warehouse middleware. Therefor, we are currently developing our brand new WCS (Warehouse control system). The new WCS is key for optimizing and modernizing the logistics industry. Our product is a comprehensive WCS that monitors warehouse movements in real time. It provides detailed analysis to optimize internal processes. The WCS integrates seamlessly with existing systems and components such as barcode scanners, packaging machines, automated storage and retrieval systems as well as conveyors to ensure complete and efficient warehouse controlling.

Your responsibilities

• software development | develop and implement new features of our WCS
• integration | integrate hardware components such as conveyors, scanners and other automated devices
• data management | optimize database solutions for optimized storage and retrieval of warehouse data
• user interface | implement modern user interfaces by collaborating with our UI/UX designer
• quality assurance | apply all kind of tests to ensure the right quality of our services
• troubleshooting | support operations to run the systems smooth and without major disturbances
• documentation | create technical documentation to keep the mttr as low as possible
• collaboration | key for all is working closely with other disciplines to understand and implement the requirements

Our requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Good knowledge and experience with following technologies:
• Java, Spring Boot
• Frontend: React
• Architecture: Microservices
• Cloud: Azure
• DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes
• Messaging Systems: Pulsar or Kafka
• Databases: SQL (preferred) or MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2

Optional

• Monitoring & Logging (Nice to Have): Grafana, ELK, Prometheus
