Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and implementing demand planning process.
  • Supporting line manager in S&OP process implementation in Germany.
  • Build and maintain demand forecasts by customer, brand, and SKU across all product flows.
  • Translate monthly forecasts into weekly plans to support operations.
  • Manage product lifecycle planning (phase-in/phase-out) and ABC classification.
  • Track and improve forecast accuracy and bias through data-driven root cause analysis.
  • Act as a key contributor in monthly S&OP processes and meetings.
  • Prepare risk scenarios, align volume/value forecasts with Finance, and document key outcomes.
  • Lead forecast review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning and Procurement on demand handover.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock risks, and capacity constraints.
  • Report on key KPIs (e.g. forecast accuracy, service level, bias) and support continuous process improvement.
  • Data visualization: Power BI or similar (an advantage).
  • Openness to new digital planning tools and automation is highly valued.

Our requirements

  • University degree.
  • 5 + years of experience in demand planning and forecasting, ideally in FMCG, food, or chemical sectors.
  • Proven participation in cross-functional planning and S&OP processes.
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) – essential.
  • Communicative German – required for daily collaboration with the German team.
  • Czech is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel skills , ERP systems experience – hands-on knowledge SAP R/3, or FuturMaster.
  • Familiarity with SAP APO – a strong plus, though not mandatory.
  • Power BI or similar tools – experience with data visualization platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking.
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset.
