About the project

• We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to support the migration of enterprise applications from WebLogic-based environments to a modern, containerized infrastructure on OpenShift/Kubernetes. You will work in an agile team with German stakeholders and contribute to architecture modernization.

Your responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Java applications to OpenShift
• Refactor and adapt Java EE/SpringBoot applications for cloud-native environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and documentation (in German)
• Participate in project meetings and technical planning sessions

Our requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development
• Strong knowledge of Java EE, SpringBoot, WebLogic
• Familiarity with OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Strong German proficiency (B2 minimum), written and spoken
• Experience in agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
