About the project

• System level Go development with focus on storage drivers. LXD, LXC, data storage, virtualization. Working in agile team creating cloud solution, writing driver for custom storage system.

Your responsibilities

• GO at least 4 years of experience with strong understanding of Go’s concurrency model
• Software development at least 7 years
• Expert level Ubuntu knowledge (sysadmin)
• System development at least 5 years
• Solid experience with LXD and LXC system containers (not just Docker)
• Ability to configure networking, storage devices, and mounts in LXD environments
• Experience working in open source
• Version control
• Experience with VMware virtualization, resource allocation models
• Ability to configure networking, storage devices, and mounts in LXD environments
• Practical knowledge of how containers interact with host OS resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O)
• Understanding of how data devices and memory resources are assigned and managed within K8s clusters
• Experience in setting up Kubernetes clusters
• Previous DevOps experience
• You’ve run your own K8s cluster or built out infrastructure environments
